Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Alongia (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Alongia is operated by Deniz Gelir. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Deniz Gelir. Please read them carefully before using the App.
Use of the App
Alongia grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial travel planning purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated tools to access or scrape the App
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes any third-party rights
- Share your account credentials with others
Account Registration
You must create an account to use Alongia. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Alongia reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Subscriptions and Payments
Alongia offers a free tier and a paid subscription called Alongia Pro. The Pro subscription unlocks additional features including unlimited AI messages, AI-suggested places, AI-generated notes, and PDF export.
Subscription Options
- Alongia Pro — Monthly: Billed once per month
- Alongia Pro — Yearly: Billed once per year
Prices are displayed in the App and in the App Store before you confirm your purchase. Prices may vary by country and are subject to change.
Billing & Auto-Renewal
Managing or Cancelling Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your name → Subscriptions
- Select Alongia and choose your option
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until that date. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Free Trial (if offered)
If a free trial is offered, unused portions of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Any free trial offer is subject to the terms displayed at the time of the offer.
AI-Generated Content
Alongia uses artificial intelligence to generate travel suggestions, itineraries, and notes. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated
- AI suggestions are provided for informational and inspirational purposes only
- AI content does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or safety advice
- You must independently verify any important travel information before relying on it — including visa requirements, health and safety conditions, transport schedules, and local regulations
- Alongia is not responsible for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from decisions made based on AI-generated content
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in Alongia (trip plans, notes, photos, expenses, etc.). By using the App, you grant Alongia a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and process your content solely to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not infringe third-party rights and complies with applicable laws.
Intellectual Property
The Alongia name, logo, app design, and all related intellectual property are owned by Deniz Gelir. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
Privacy Policy
Your use of Alongia is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
By using Alongia, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Alongia does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Alongia makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content or travel information provided through the App.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Deniz Gelir shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, travel disruptions, missed bookings, or reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App settings. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our servers.
Alongia reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have additional rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
